Questions frequently asked, and answered.
FAQs
- Do I really need
a web site?
- YES! A web site gives your business an online presence that allows visitors to learn more about your business and the products or services that you offer quickly and easily. Moreover, a web site can attract potential customers, employees, business partners, and investors.
If you don’t have a web site, you are losing business to those that do.
- My business has never had a web site.
Where do I start?
- Many of my clients have had little or no prior presence on the Internet. I’ll explain what you need to know – in plain English – so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

- How much
does a web site cost?
- Each web site is unique, so the cost will vary from project to project. For most basic web sites I will charge a flat fee.
- How long before
my web site is online?
- The turnaround time from development to “going live” depends on the size and scope of each project. After the initial consultation, I’ll be able to provide an estimate.
- What services
are provided?
- I can develop custom web sites from scratch or update neglected or out-dated web sites. Assistance with domain registration and web site hosting, at competitive rates, are also available.
- Who will maintain
my web site?
- Once online, I can make any changes and/or updates to the site. Minor update requests, such as text changes, can be completed quickly. Adding pages or changing the site design are major updates, and will, of course, take a little longer. Fees are based on an hourly rate and will be billed in ½ hour increments. Of course, if you choose, you can maintain the web site yourself.
